Blind solving on the train

Every second Friday night, the boys and I travel into the city to meet their dad for the weekend. Nat sees this as the perfect opportunity to practice his cubing.

Last night, Nat decided he was going to practice his blind solving. He packed his bag with his cubes and blind fold, and off we went.

Usually he has an audience with his solving, but last night there weren’t many people on the train. He worked on his solve, then handed me the cube to scramble again. I was trying to read my book!

So many times, he very nearly solved it!

It’s exciting watching him learn new skills, even if I have no idea what he’s talking about half the time! He’s determined to enter blind solving in a competition very soon.
